Your Dad sounds like he was a great man. I am willing to bet he raised a few as well.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Stories like yours remind us all how lucky those of us with older living parents really are.

I hope you find this place as endearing as your father did and stick around. We could use another good man on these message boards.
