If they would redistribute this to the local populace for free, I would have no problem with this.
Otherwise, they are just fricking over their own community by making them temporarily pay a bit more while the police department gets paid bonuses from the feds.

But but, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, both Bushes with a Clinton squeezed in there all promised each and every American that the scourge of drugs would be eliminated before they left office??? How is it 50 years later and still running we are having record amounts of drugs confiscated? How is it prices, not even adjusted for inflation, are lower now than ever?
There was a Colorado judge 20 years ago campaigning to end the drug war, had the statistics backing him: 3% addiction rate in 1900 before everything under the sun was illegal, 100 years later and millions of arrests, trillions of dollars wasted on enforcement, 3% addiction rate.
Think of this next time you chuckle at the dog chasing it's tail before laying down.

The coca plant and opium poppy grow naturally too......
And?
Do they magically turn into cocaine and opium by themselves?

337.5 pounds of marijuana, $81,000, two guns, ammunition and several drug paraphernalia items were seized in Washington Count Tuesday, Jan. 5.
It will all just get redistributed internally and/or externally.
