After we got married Mrs Dawg's boss and her husband told us to get a jar and a bag of jelly beans. Put one in the jar each time you have socks in the first year. Then eat one of them everytime after that first year. The point was that you'll never run out. However they had not yet hit the point where we are now. We would have most definitely emptied that jar once my wife hit 40.
The nice thing is there is virtually no chance for a mini Dawg and we don't have the stress of trying to have a kid like we did nearly 20 years ago. However, there are some things people already in their mid-40s should not try. I ended up watching the 2nd start of the 500 from the emergency room on Sunday after my wife and I got a bit too spicy.
