If you have a horse, ride to the gas station for gas. Always gets laughs and stares from the clerk and patrons.

Gas stations always sell gas cans (in my experience). If not see what they have and improvise.
If you have HYBRID you can play "gas roulette". I have gotten another 5 to 10 miles on a hybrid when the gauge says empty. Like "Russian roulette" you may not get to the station before you really can no longer go.

It'll be fine. Gas away, Grrrl and take your time so the boy doesn't ever run out of gas again.
