Well maybe you will get one. And then can go buy a chicken dinner to eat in the dining room with a bunch of your friends.

haven't used them since then...well on myself...I doubt there will be upgrades during such a big event but who knows...
You might be surprised. The hotels are still cheap, I'm assuming, since I got to use $68 as a bid. When the hotels are expensive, the bids are too.
If they're cheap, that means they're not very full.
I still stand by the best hotel room I've ever had in NOLA being Residence Inn for $50 (bid). It was bigger than the apartment I live in.
Bigger than that ballin suite we had at Roosevelt. (Although not nearly as pretty)
I am so spoiled. After drinking on Bourbon St. last week, my friends stopped at random gross places to pee and I deliberately walked to Roosevelt because I love their bathrooms in the lobby
ETA: Just checked. Fin, my hotel has already jumped to $85.
It fluctuates though.. not that money is an option for you ;)

I tipped the girl at the hotel front desk and got a pimp room in Vegas. Figured staying mon-fri they'd have plenty available

I don't need to do that because the rooms I book there are usually huge as is
May stay at the nice hilton property next trip, though

I've looked at other places when considering going back to Vegas, and while many are gorgeous, our's was definitely one of the biggest as far as "standard" rooms go. Our standard room at Palazzo is what most properties consider their 2nd-3rd tier suite.

It's tough to stay elsewhere after numerous times staying there

The new Hyatt is super nice.
IMO Windsor Court is a pretty baller hotel and doesn't get the credit it deserves.

I love it. All purple and white.. really modern.
Never stayed there, but I've been when I dined at Borgne.

I was going to say that this is the only place I know with bigger rooms. It's all basically apartments. Ain't cheap though.
My boss' brother owns Ritz. They are staying at the top floor apartment for RDR.

I've never stayed there but I've been inside of it several times for different events. There's a really nice 'convenience' store in there and you can buy drinks and pre-made salads, sandwiches, fruit, etc. and it's all good quality; they also sell toiletries in there. There's a Starbucks on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt. And I haven't been to Borgne yet but I hear it's good.

It's the best for sure.
