I tease Kcrad about being in ww1 but I know he wasn’t

IIRC he was teens/early twenties when the Court of King Crimson albumcame out

I remember him talking about it bc my kids were listening to that at the time, which was weird in all respects.

And kcrad schooled me on Neil Young.

@Kcrad:UNO class of 89?? When did you graduate high school?

Nah. Most of those kids have birthdays on the cusp of starting dates for Kindergarten. I could have enrolled my son in kindergarten when he was just about to turn 5 but then he would have been one of the youngest in his class all the way through school. We sent him to another year of preK and he entered just before he was 6 and is now one of the oldest in his grad class. No boy wants to be the youngest and smallest in his grade.

I don’t think public schools have pre K 2 yet

Kids can be left behind until 4 years old

that's what we did for my son too. He needed another year of learning to sit still and listen.

I entered kindergarten at 4 and graduated at 17. I turned 13 my freshman year and 15 my sophomore year. I was the last to drive and the last to date although my mom had to finally give in and let me date at 15 bc otherwise I would be left out of everything since all my friends were dating.

I was 17 for months in college. It really, really sucked.
