I prefer to take mine at mile 13.1 
Take it once the whole group has finished (maybe a second if we took a pre-emptive one while waiting on a slower runner) and then find a burger and some onion rings.

We take them right at mile 10. Don’t have to stop running bc I keep a few airplane bottles in my running belt.
AS- we def grab drinks afterwards. Gotta rehydrate right.

We crossed the starting line at the same time.....she crossed the finsish line before I did....
So in essence I guess you can say her time was better than mine.....who actually won is subjective.
