I bought a french press and an electric kettle when I traveled to Israel a few years ago for 2 weeks. (the place we stayed didn't serve coffee until bfast was served- which was well after I normally wake)
I really like the french press coffee taste better than a regular ole coffee maker with a timer, but I wake up with awful headaches almost everyday, and the most soothing thing is fresh hot coffee ready and waiting for me.
I'm not a coffee snob by any means, I just like to have it ready when I wake up.

but I have terrible TMJ. I had braces for 2.5 years to try to get my jaw joint aligned and just got them off in May this year.
I will have to get braces again though because my jaw joint is still not aligned properly and my headaches are getting worse again.
Doing clear correct this time because FU traditional braces.

I used to drink Malbecs and cabs almost exclusively- but I’ve found that Pinot noir’s don’t give me near the headaches and I can enjoy them more frequently.
