With that amount of rage, you must be a brother.

Since your official cause of death was bleeding out, why are you on blood thinners

I have to be on a blood thinner because people with an artificial valve are vulnerable to blood clots.

They put me on a thinner called Coumadin following my open-heart surgery. The problem though was the dosage was too high and blood started leaking from the sutures in my heart a week after surgery. This is what made me essentially bleed to death internally. Which this in turn also lead to my recovery being such a bitch. Ever though they revived me I was left anemic and still had a lot of blood surrounding my lungs making it difficult to breath.

But now they've got all that old blood (or as they call it "fluids") drained out and my blood levels have recovered as well. I feel almost normal again.

Festus, could I use honey instead of syrup?

Yes, you very well could and if you do, please report to me how it turned out.

But Aunt Jemimah maple syrup gives it a unique flavor, like those maple nut goodies you could buy at Sears in the home made candy department. Mixed with the banana and bread.

A mayo and banana sandwich is a thing? Sounds disgusting.

That's how my grandmother always made them when I was a kid. They're actually pretty good. My wife introduced my to peanut butter & banana sandwiches later on. Now I eat them either way, at least when I do have a banana sandwich. And that's not very often.

Try it and tell me what you think. When I was a kid, I had a dude babysitter that would make them for me and my siblings.
One night, he woke me from my sleep, and asked if he could put his P in my B. I said no. He never came back. True story.

It turns out very well if you also grill it like a grilled cheese.

Fwiw, that was Elvis's favorite sandwich.

FYI, take peanut butter, mix maple syrup well into the PB, then spread liberally on bunny bread. Slice banana and spread slices over the PB syrup contraption. Thank me later, if it doesn't kill you. If it does, thank me by posting from heaven, Darth.

I remember when I was a kid they'd serve peanut butter and honey sandwiches once a week at school. Those things were pretty damn good.

Yep, Elvis loved them fried up. And if I'm not mistaken, I think Elvis would sometimes throw some bacon on those bad boys.

When I was a kid, they served a scoop of the peanut butter and honey mixed together, in a little cup. You then spread it on those freshly baked, homemade yeast rolls while still piping hot.

That shite was indescribably delicious. I would give anything to recreate that.

The OT has turned into one of two threads - best/worst posters, and beta dudes pretending to be alpha for internet points.
