She cried, just as I'd predicted.
I tried to be nice, but I had to resort to being mean Mrs. Tiger, and I'm not sure that she was prepared for it.
I ended buying her lunch in the cafeteria, and we sat with some of my former students. I think that she was okay when she left for the day, but I'll call her later to follow up.
