Why, thanks Rebel. I’ll be in depositions all day tomorrow so it’s unlikely I’ll be around.
It was sad to see a vibrant trial lawyer like my Dad who loved the outdoors and making things laid so low. He lived totally dependent from the date of the stroke (12/20/97) until the date of his death (8/26/03).

LCA, I don’t know how you drink Pepsi.
You might as well move to Ohio.

I like it.
I'm listening to 70s music on the TV, and they just had a Van Morrison song followed by a Van McCoy song. I don't think the two Vans are related though.

Are you a Cheerwine drinker, ACL?
The last time I was in NC it appeared to be pretty popular.

I’ve decided on lunch.
About to grill a rib-eye

Hard to go wrong with that choice. I have one leftover from Sunday’s grilling session and may just attack it a little later.

Damn. Just started pre-heating the grill and the rain started.

If you get the kind of rain I got earlier you won’t be grilling outdoors.
I’ve never attempted it but a friend of mine can sear a ribeye on both sides in a cast iron skillet and finish it off in the oven. His turn out good.

It stopped raining. But I have a Weber Summit gas grill and it is under a pavilion type of thing.
It’ll easily get to 650 degrees. Seering is not an issue.

Just got back from a short walk. It feels awesome outside right now. Sunny and 64 degrees.
