If you are referring to the new extended sidewalk they just added over by the union.. that whole situation is fricking idiotic.

No one needed a bigger sidewalk. that road is basically closed during school hours anyways. People just use the fricking road.

I'm almost certain LSU decides to think up the stupidest ways to spend their money on pointless construction and always schedule it during the worst possible times

Dont be a semantics douche...university.

As for the faculty issues... I wont name names because of google searches, but certain older faculty were retained even with poor research/publishing performance in favor of younger faculty members who were literally leaders in their respective fields.

As for the application of funds, I'll tell you the same thibg I told the vice chancellor when I received a bitchy response email after lambasting their waste. Whether the funds were assigned to specific projects or not...if they did not at least attempt to reappropriate those funds, they are guilty of exactly what I accused them of...stupidity and laziness.

Yep! That's the one. Students could try complaining to Student Government about it. It's worth a try.

That one is a hidden gem. Especially during midterms/finals when you need to print.

Eta: When will LSU decide to build a new library or at least upgrade it? It's fricking gross.

I lived there ! My grades were shite , but it is a place to study between classes or at nite .

It was the only convenient place to print something quickly, since the first floor is a clusterfrick and CADGIS is unavailable half of the time.

Then again, this probably shouldn't surprise anyone. These are the same people who couldn't manage to provide staplers near the first AND second floor printers.

OMGZ I cant print some papers and staple them together. Theyre shutting down a computer lab that I might use once a week to browse the internet instead of studying. Hence my shite grades
