Go see a cardiologist for a stress test & interpretation. Doesn't take long and will have a lot to say about the state of your cardiovascular health.

This is all true, but my mom and also another friend of my had heart attacks only months after taking a stress test, and being given a clean bill of health.

Also, doing annual lab work to make sure your cholesterol and blood pressure is in line are good things to do as well.

My next door neighbor died last week of a massive heart attack as well. I was sitting at home doing my charts on the computer when my wife screams bloody murder for me to come outside. I run next door. I did CPR for maybe 5 mins before EMS came. Neighbor never recoverd. Sooo sad for the family. He was super nice guy who loved to golf.

I second the notion to hug your kids and loved ones any chance you get.

Update, the story is this gentleman fell about two weeks ago on ice. Bruised his leg very badly, didn't think too much of it.

Ended up clotting and caused heart attack.

Lesson learned for me as I would have probably done the same.
