I remember years ago when “Blue Law” was in effect and stores were closed on Sundays,the Alexandria Mall parking lot was empty on Sundays.Some guys would be taking off and landing in the parking lot with those ultralight airplanes.I don’t know how far they would fly but you could see them circling around the Mall.
Wouldn’t get me in one,they looked very fragile.
My dad knew a guy that got one,didn’t have it very long before he crashed,broke his back and was paralyzed waist down.

How much fuel does it take, he seems pretty far from the coast and ditching in the ocean would be pretty horrific. I thought they only had something like ten minutes of flight time?
