Is Stan Carpenter still alive and kicking? He didn't like me very much

He didn't just say "a murder occurred", he told Ard that one of his deputies was in bed with a minor. Ard absolutely had a duty to act on that statement alone, period, end of story. If he had said "I heard a guy who I won't mention was banging a minor" that's totally different. Put your efforts behind defending someone worth a shite.
I assure you, I’m not defending Ard. Is inaction is utterly undefinable. I think the Ard’s explanation that the complainant somehow had some further duty past making the allegation is insane. He not only had a duty to act he had a legal obligation to act and broke the law by failing to do so.
By mentioning the murder, I was making a point of how ridiculous the explanation is that the complainant is under some obligation to do some paperwork or whatever he was using as an excuse.
The reporters at that press conference he was at sucked. He had a duty and legal obligation to take an official report and chose not to do it. I can assure you if it had been you or I we’d have been investigated to the fullest.
