I asked some of these guys to do a manual J to calculate the exact capacity but Ram said its useless, and Accutemp said they can't do it on existing constructions because its difficult to get the correct readings. When I posted it on HVACtalk.com, they said both these guys are "idiots". Also asked Glaze Air and he does not even know what Manual J is, though he has been doing it for 35 years!!
I have Bell Mechanical and Climate control left on my list. If they also fail, I might have to start looking at contractors near NOLA.
