They have definitely gotten their groove back. Low key highlight was the "earlier" segment with the racing and the mom telling the cop to give her a scare. I may be wrong but they kind of inferred that the cop tore up the ticket. Our society needs more moms like her and cops like him. I doubt the two WBR 5-0 jackasses would even consider doing the same. (Yes, I realize they've probably dealt with way too much stupid shite and have already become jaded.)

On a related note, Richland has been there since the beginning. These governments who bitch about the show putting them in a bad light need to make that next jump and realize that perhaps training and policy are the problem, not the presence of a video camera or two. The dog rescue will be ingrained in the fabric of this show like the Mastriani chase/car flip/baby save and all of the missing/wanted people found.

We get a US sport back today with some good ol' rubbing and racing. If you need something to do during commercials/yellow flags take a look at the wiki article about the history of departments & officers. The AZHP is interesting. Some of these cops were just entering/in the police academy when the show started...new Blondie may have been inspired to sign up by old Blondie's takedown of multiple subjects who were bigger than her.
