I think this is wear you separate a "soldier" and a "police officer."
Not an excuse. Just saying that the pussy factor in someone that writes speeding tickets for a living versus a trained soldier clearly made the difference in this situation.
Unfortunately, the SWAT Team that should have been trained like soldiers....didn't act like it.

I'm not a trained soldier but I'll be goddamned if I stand inside a building with a gun and listen to kids get slaughtered for an hour and do nothing.
