Mine isn't a button but a knob you turn. I can see where the blue wire goes up into the switch and it is not hanging. If I knew how to post pics I would show you what I am talking about.
ETA: I just pulled the wire off the motor to look at it and I am 99.9% sure it is electrical.

If that is indeed the case, it's odd, but........
Call the tech dept. for help or call them for a service tech's number. It's over your pay grade at this point.

The pneumatic ones rarely crap out. I had an electronic one go out on me would turn on by itself and wouldn't turn off.
