That app is magic! It's not pselliopus cinctus, but is another assassin bug. It's 100% confident it's this one. ID pic has the same short wings and solid legs no other pics matched.

Cool! You can look at the "children" in that genus and try to narrow it down to a specific species. Assassin bugs aren't that hard, and most of them should be described. On there somewhere under genus you will see it broken down into different species and each one will have it's own page.

ETA: The short wings are a hint at its age or life stage. It is in an early instar where the wings haven't fully formed yet. The adults will have the full wings.

Apparently they are great for the garden so this is lucky. I think it's beautiful, never seen one.

Been seeing a lot of beautiful nature and interesting critters in the family veggie garden. My phone is filthy from taking pics while working in there.
