They claimed it, but that doesn't mean they did it. They claim a lot of things, including acts by people that were inspired by them but with whom they had no actual contact. I wouldn't put it past them to claim something that didn't really happen.
ETA: obviously the crash happened but it may not have been terrorism.

Can't exactly blame this on the quality of the device. My company set up iPads for use with CFM, and they work wonderfully. Have to make sure you utilize the proper cables and chargers. The cheap knock off dollar store cables will destroy your devices, and cause fires.
