Most of the time I am emotionally and physically drained. A have a wild toddler, a teenager with awful grades, and a wife with a stressful job. Needless to say the majority of my free time is spent tending to them 3.
Not to mention my mother and grandma constantly barraging me to bring the kids by to visit. To hell with me for trying to get a workout in or take a nap, right? How dare I neglect everyone

I'm sure that is true for society at large but if a man has a loving family, they care how he feels.

Society at a whole might not give a shite but my wife, family, kids, and close friends certainly give a shite how I feel as do I give a shite how they feel.

This. I don’t live my life worrying about who cares for me or not.. family is what you hope for, but I have found out since Mrs. PJ has passed is that family is not there for you as much as they said they would be. Sure I guess I’m a little bitter, but I will not let it affect my life. For the first time since I was like 22 I can do anything I want, move anywhere I want and not have to answer to anyone. They would care when I say I’m moving but that would fade quickly after I’m gone… so again, I really don’t care what anyone thinks of me.
