A competent leader who sees beyond skin color and is willing to do what's necessary for the greater good, and not just pander to one particular demographic. I understand that Baton Rouge, like many mid to large-sized southern cities is racially divided, but Broome's administration has been focused on race since day one. She's about to put in place a policy that will give "disenfranchised" aka black-owned businesses preferential treatment when it comes to awarding city contracts.

Step one in making Baton Rouge a better place to live would be to vote this idiot woman out of office.
