I-10 was closed at the US-90 exit heading east. I was coming from New Orleans heading West on I-10...got stuck in traffic at S Acadian Thwy for about an hour before it cleared right after the river. Saw the accident on the other side heading East, and I-10 E was closed from the Tiger Cage to Hwy 90/Morgan City/Opelousas exit in Lafayette. That's where they were diverting traffic.

I'd drop it into 4 wheel drive and go through on the median.

I can't remember the last time I didn't jump to 190 from i49 in LC. That stretch has become unbearable.

This afternoon points out a flaw in map-apps, which are cheerfully showing lots of green along the greater I-49 / US-90 / 190 routes. Even I-10 EB looks green if you overlook the one little road-closed symbol. Had one not read TD and the reports and images of the general frickuppery, well... good luck with that.
