There's a lot of silly in this thread.
For those of you that complain that you pay premiums but don't get services, you are lucky.
For those of you that think insurance companies don't pay claims, you have recourse. The insurance company is highly regulated and has a fiduciary responsibility to uphold their end of the contract.
Read your policies and learn them.
If you feel you are being cheated file a grievance with the insurance company. There's a section in your insurance certificate the explains how to do this.
If you still feel you are being cheated then file a complaint with your state's insurance department. The insurance company will have to prove that the claim was denied legally.
Keep in mind though that when you are dealing with the insurance department at the State you are dealing with public employees that aren't exactly the brightest bulbs in the chandelier.
For those that want universal health care, you are asking for more dim bulbs in the chandelier.

Blame big pharm for those insurance hikes-not your doctors rates or even that undesirable guy who was denied of health insurance until 2012.
Good for whatever outlet to expose that hedge fund guy that raised the price of that pill a few weeks back. If only the numbers from companies like Pfizer, Novartis were exposed more often.
