I have never worked a st Patrick's day before

I have worked Christmas, Easter, the 4th of July. But I have NEVER worked a St. Patrick's day before.
The Gaelic music on the radio is making me want to grab a beer out of the truck. Even Irish whisky might do at this point.

I haven't had off for St. Patrick's Day since around 2001. A few of us went to Savannah, GA which was decent. I purchased my buddy's soul for the price of a beer that day. I still have the signed contract on a dollar bill somewhere.
I think it was 2005 when we stopped at Port Canaveral for repairs. A day or 2 before SPD we found a place in Cocoa Beach called Paddy Cassidy's. Flogging Molly was playing there on SPD and we had plans to go back... but we ended up shipping out that morning.
