Hmm. Analogising a physical crime recognized since the earliest days of common law and even prior to that with some exaggerated tort of emotional distress to shield people from the consequences of their bad decisions. Sounds legit. Good job.
Nah, it's you. You're absolving people of sex crimes because they're marines, and you're placing the blame on the victim. You should be a man instead.

As long as we have Marines in jobs like admin, supply, intel, etc. it will always be the case that women are sometimes more qualified than the men in those positions.

As long as we discuss the qualification of their serving, their simply being there provides a list of default negatives that never go away, many of which have been discussed here.

As you said, do you think it's ever the case that the positives out weigh the negatives in a preponderance of situations?

If not, is this a big diversity experiment runamok?

I never stated otherwise. In fact, I stated just that. I'm simply countering your assertion that there are zero positives. That's simply not true.

It could be, but I don't think SecNav or the Commandant want to hear my ideas.

To some extent, yes. But this is not a battle that will ever be won by stating that women don't belong, ragardless of how true that may be.

Of course, and most especially in this case.

Typically, I avoid stepping into things without prior knowledge or experience. I recommend the same for you next time.

How did they get nudes of over 2 dozen female marines?

Why not? It's the truth. Thinking otherwise is what brought us the likes of Mabus and the neglecting of an entire study that proved men only marine units outperformed women and coed units in the field.

Unsurprisingly that report didn't go over well with the previous President's administration.

so basically they got passed around like peace pipes and are now mad because pics got out showing how big of sluts they actually were.

So they either took naked selfies or let someone else take a pic of themselves naked and sent them to SO's and now they mad because the military version of the Fappening went down?

Chalk this up as another reason why women working any where in the workplace such as Hollywood is a bad idea.

Did you make this comment after the Fappening?

Because that's not the right argument, at least not as your first tangent. There are other arguments that are also true, and better.

Right, and this goes back to how we are used. If the best person for a specific position is a woman, she should fill that position. I don't give a frick if some analyst in DC can carry me or not. I care if she provides timely and accurate information.

Now, should that position be "equal" to an infantry Marine? I say no.

Why not?

Shouldn't the Fappening be a reason why women shouldn't work in Hollywood if that's how you feel about women working in the military?

Women working in the Marine Corps and women working in Hollywood are night and day and not even in the same ballpark.

You think they're similar?
