I don't even know why people would want a Shell card, unless they just enjoy paying more for gas than at other gas stations.
I only go to Shell if I have no other choice. Seems like if there is a Shell and a couple other gas stations nearby..Shell's gas is the most expensive by sometimes 10 cents or more a gallon compared to the other ones right by it(I'm talking like the gas station across the street from it).

I agree to some extent, but there are definitely brands of gasoline I avoid.
There is no chemical formula for gasoline. It's a soup of molecules that, taken as a whole, burns at a certain rate and meets some environmental standards.
Within those broad guidelines, gasoline can be pretty much anything. AAA did a study where the cheap shite left 19x as many deposits as the good shite... to be clear, that's not 19% more, that's 1800% more. LINK
So I stick to Shell, Chevron, or QT. I don't shop on price much.
