How long will Xfinity keep that smart resume feature?

When you DVR programs, it allows you to fast forward through the commercials and auto-start once the show resumes

I'm sure the advertisers hate it
I bet it is gone by 2020.

I’m a pro at fast forwarding the old fashioned way.
