Depends
If I get a call that is not followed up by a text or VM, that conveys to me that the call wasn't important enough to need a return correspondence.
Now if it is a number I don't know and no VM or text is left, I will typically just go ahead and block that number.

I'm from the previous phone era, so I really never answer the phone if I'm on the go.

Depends on Who it is and what am I doing. Even people I like and don’t mind talking to, if I know they’re long-winded (my sister is a great example) I may not answer if I’m busy and will wait until I have time to call back.

We must have same father. I can literally put my phone down and he never know I am not listening. I put him on speaker and throw a “yeah” or “ok” in every now and then while I go about whatever I need to do
