Popping pills, playing guitar. I'm going to record a few songs at my bandmate's house over the weekend. Nothing better than getting high and playing music around the house.

I'm at the family homestead and I swear to God I've never seen as much commode flushing, trash cans full of toilet paper and paper towels wadded up. Tired of seeing tampon materials in the trash can. My poor mother is waiting hand and foot on my lazy siblings. Brainwashed grandson came in from Austin the other night and announced we were all racists, then told grandma to cook him something to eat at 11 p.m. Every electric plug is full with electronics and the chirping and beeping all night long annoys those who try to sleep.

Constantly checking my temperature praying it does not hit 100.5 so I do not have to call my oncologist and have to be admitted to the hospital for Christmas.

You got a prayer from this corner for your good health and peace of mind. I truly hope that thermometer stays below 100.

Heck yeah. I've spent most of my time home being Mom's sous chef. Best way to learn how to do the things. I'll never be as good as her though.
