I agree if you have your financing done ahead of time then you can neg better. Bottom line they know you will buy from someone and got financing.
Dealers got more aggressive on the price once they knew it came down to the bottom line price I would pay.
I just tested the waters and Supreme Chevy and Hanks were 2% higher than going directly with Neighbors thru Neighbors. I was told that is how they make their money.

I bought an F150 from them last summer. Pretty good to work with.
I had some problems which I won't state what they were on here, because it wasn't the dealerships fault. Once they got to the bottom of it, they made it very right in the end. I would buy there again.
