I have a super blackhawk in .44 mag with an 7.5" barrel. It is really accurate to 75-80 yards. I use it in a few climbing stands that are in some hardwood bottoms where I dont need a 200 yard shot. It is easier to carry in, climb tree and aim with.
I have killed several (4-5) deer with it and like the way it shoots. But I highly recommend hearing protection for it.
