Has anyone here had any experience with MOOCs?

I was thinking about getting a certificate from Coursera. It is very inexpensive and not very long. I don't want to waste my time or money though if isn't going to help land me a better job in the future though. I tried looking up some reviews online, but I couldn't find anything solid either way.
