According to my kids, I’ve driven a broomstick for many years, but my students usually only mutter under their breath that I’m something that rhymes with witch when I return their graded writing.

Never had a cat.

I’m petite. Cankles really would clash terribly with that.

I’ve shifted levels and courses a few times over the years. I teach one section of an elective literary analysis class to seniors every year, so it’s always kind of neat to see my old students again when they’re all grown up.

I would love to be paid more, but this issue is worse in some places than others. For instance, if I were teaching in Oklahoma, I would quit and do something else.
