Possibly wrong board for this, but whatever, where is the best place I can get a set of clubs. Just starting up and was wondering if I should just get a cheap wilson or top flite set or something along those lines or buy a used set, at like golf connection

Sports Authority has a Tommy Armour complete set with bag for around $150. This would be my route.

If you find a certain set that you like, say you demo one in a cheap simulator at academy or dicks or something I would suggest checking out golfballs.com for that same set and I'd bet it's cheaper. I saved $150 on a mizuno set from there after I hit them at a demo day. Also I have $350 in gift certificates to that site (also has a retail store in lafayette) that I'm looking to sell for $300. That would almost, if not totally, cover the cost of a set you're looking for and save you another 15%. Let me know if interested.
