I bet owning a horse is like having a pet but 1000x more work. But it also doubles as transportation and you get to do cowboy/cowgirl stuff.

It is a lot of work.

Beer 1 acquired. I have nothing to do tonight except finish my cannibal show and maybe take a walk

I’m not watching golf. I’ll see where I fall when Cuppy finally posts the standings.

I have another financial question. Not asking as a fiduciary. Just an opinion.

Gold has been flying up like it was helium-filled. Silver has been creeping up and being kind of disrespected. WTF?

My understanding of commodities is less than stellar. My only guess is that gold and related ETFs et cetera are just considered more of a safehaven than silver. I'd be curious to know how platinum is performing.

I'll say this...holding some actual physical gold bullion is always a safe bet in case the whole system crashes. But sometimes I wonder if ammo and gasoline would be more precious as a bartering tool.

I just did it the lazy way. Trimmed pork, cut into 1" strips. Seasoned salt, heavy fresh ground pepper, garlic powder and honey. Glass baking dish, covered in foil. 3 hours at 205.

Them with some Aldi's onion rings.
