Not this afternoon through Wednesday, you don’t. This city is about to shut down completely.
Didn’t let my son drive to school today bc I knew the freezing mist then rain would start before school let out at 4:30. Just didn’t expect it to start before noon. This is going to suck.

It’s misting and just got alert of phone that freezing mist is beginning now. Forecast shows freezing rain beginning by 2:00.
School is only about 8 blocks away but those 8 blocks can get fricked up quickly with 500 teenagers driving within that stretch on iced roads.

We were super lucky in that big freeze. We were only part of rolling blackouts so power was out for 15 minutes once and hour. The only thing that sucked for us was having to go break up the ice in the pool every 30 minutes. Had to set an alarm all night for my husband and I to take turns getting up to break the ice.
