Nice edit.

The edit was nothing sinister. It was simply a thanks to thinks.

Don't be so defensive, I'm just making a house cat joke. I love house cat jokes. Why would I be jealous of him?

Today I realized the word “bed” actually looks like a bed.

eat plants all you want, but if you make said plants taste like meat, that means your true desire it to be carnivorous correct? I think that's the part I don't understand. If it looks like meat and tastes like meat, aren't you still promoting a meat eating culture? is that why they wear tshirts and carry signs? so we'll know that that that prime rib is really watermelon?

Do you and Slag carry around a book with big words in it?

And where can I find this book so I can study?

This is crazy, but up until this very post I had no idea that you were insane.

It’s complicated.

They see it as a way to rise above the mundane of human carnivorous desire and seek to be disciplined in their philosophy of the sanctity of private property whereby property ownership means you and other volitional creatures own your own life.

This leads to the basic tenents of private property and freedom. Namely that freedom is the societal condition that will exist when volitional beings control 100% of their property and 0% of any other volitional being’s property.

So if you don’t own any procreated creature, you don’t have the right to eat it or kill it or have it killed for you to eat it.

So you can still eat plants and wish they tasted like ground beef and be non-hypocritical.

trying to understand why someone does something is insane?
far better to just laugh at them right?

so eventually those who subscribe to this mindset will evolve past the desire? it's an interesting concept.
what is the long term sustainability of that mindset? do they just believe that the lifespan of the animals on the planet will keep their numbers in check, or do they abstractly depend on the non-vegans to make sure that happens? if humans were to collectively take ourselves out of the food chain? Do vegans feel a responsibility to reduce their own carbon footprint to ensure that they way they live doesn't encroach and ultimately take the life of animals that way? ( I don't mean any of this as argumentative BTW, it is honestly interesting to me why people think the way they do about any given thing)

Mom always gets me word of the day calendars for Christmas and reader digest subscriptions.

That’s where I learned about the dyslexic agnostic insomniac who would lay in bed all night wondering if there really was a dog.

I love both of those! It really DOES pay to enrich your word power.
