My inlaws have been taking the boat out...not far. But the barracudas have been rampant. They did a charter were every fish they pulled in was just half a fish.
We caught a bunch of catfish off the shore (bay) last week. Fried em up. Some guy a ways down pulled in a 7 foot hammerhead.
I wanted to take a selfie with it but he wouldn't let me touch it. Said it was a federal offense. He cut the line and then it died

Yep. Good neighbors are the best security. I might do a BBQ this summer and invite all mine. Byob bc I hear those assholes during all the Lsu games so I know they are drunks.
