Your work shows that you paint primarily with air but your brush skills aren’t lacking either.
You also mask your cockpit glass for painting.
Cockpit glass that is hand painted without masking looks like so sloppy compared to cockpits that were masked and air brushed.
I enjoy your work. The Jolly Roger cockpit you did is still one of my favorites.

Thanks, man. Here is the Wildcat before weathering:
Applying oil dots:
Absolutely. The only way to go

The only paces I can even tell you dropped a brush head onto your model are the tiny dabs of metallic weathering.
A lot of the chipping/bare metal is done with a silver artist pencil

Weren’t you working on a Tiger recently?

No man, that Tiger was about 10 years old. I have one in the stash but its going to be a minute before I get to it. I'm currently on an A-10 that is giving me fits. I was going to junk it but my son wants it completed so there's that

My son built an A-10 when he was a kid. I think it was a Revel kit if I remember it correctly. I still have it on a shelf. He actually did a really good job for a kid.

I think I built the same kit years ago. This one is Italeri's version in 1/48. Fit is absolutely terrible. This one will be hung from the ceiling

Below, an Airfix Wellington 1/72 that will never see the light of day.
The kit instructions reveal a ton of parts that are optional, as they remain hidden.
I placed every single part thereby creating ridiculous fit issues with the two fuselage halves.
I promptly destroyed this by crushing it in my hands:
Felt good, man.

Damn that looks good! I know the feeling. If my son didn't want the A-10, it would meet its fate with over powered fireworks.
I may or may not post the plane when done. We shall see...if its bad it definitely won't be

I built that same kit a few years ago. It’s a son of a bitch. I did get it done, but holy hell. Almost turned me off Airfix forever.
