Ah but the tricky part is very high acceleration/clear airspace ahead at point of launch.
I don't know where the point is, but I'm sure it's sooner than 90. 90 it's definitely untouchable, but it's high acceleration means it will move quite a bit of ground in the time it takes for a launched missile to reach where the shuttle was at missile firing. And that there is a point that while it's catchable in terms of speed and altitude, it is accelerating faster than anything can hope to catch up.
If imagine that it's closer to Max-Q than it is to that 90 second point.
