I was a Harrier pilot in the Marines. Well, not me but by cousin Jim flew them in the late 80s early 90s.

I grew up in Grant Parish. My family has a place out in the middle of nowhere. The A-10's from the 23rd TFW at England AFB loved to buzz the rural areas, and you didn't know they were there until they roared right over your arse.

Same here except in St. Landry Parish. In the mid '80s, I was sweeping the sidewalk next to my dad's shop when I heard one right over our trees and could clearly see the pilot. He buzzed back around and thought that was a badass plane.
