That is awesome news. The best news I’ve heard yet.

She’s not scared of PT……she hates it, but she’s no stranger to working hard in therapy as she has already spent 4 months doing it. She was initially misdiagnosed so we are feeling like we’ve lost a lot of time.

Do you have any personal feelings about stem cell therapy. I know it’s not your field of expertise, but thought maybe you would have some thoughts or maybe even experience with patients who had chosen that route.

If you're in the Baton Rouge area, go see Dr. Burnham at Ochsner Elite-Burbank.

I don’t, sorry. Other than the fact that many pro athletes use it to recover from surgery and injuries. I actually plan to ask Dr. Emblom about that at my follow up.

Thank you for all the info. You’ve been very encouraging. I wish you the best of luck with your recovery. Sounds like you have this under control.

If you think about it jump back on here and share what your Doc says about the stem cell therapy.

Yes. My daughter sees him occasionally. He's good at what he does.

The surgery is not a scam. It absolutely can fail if you don’t follow the post op restrictions.

The studies say it doesn’t work. This whole scheme is being exposed like those overdone spine surgeries years ago.

I've had this surgery on both my hips (Tore my labrum in 2 places in one hip and almost popped the labrum out of the hip socket on the other). Went to Dr. Broyles at Bone & Joint. You'll want to get it done sooner than later to avoid arthritis in the hip. The recovery was easy if you're young.
