I'm sorry but I went to a private high school that got drug tested in Louisiana and probably 95% of our class drank. Probably around 60-70% binge drank every weekend. About 75% of the guys in our class habitually smoked weed by the end of our senior year. With girls factored in that number would be lower, but they did it too. (most of them waited until college.) Xanax was also pretty popular. This is all coming from a school that got drug tested. These stats are not very accurate

Well consider the fact that alcohol isn't taboo over there and that they grow up drinking wine at meals instead of soda.
