A machine isn't going to check your eyes for high pressure, glaucoma, or problems like diabetic retinopathy, etc., etc. A machine also can't fine tune prescriptions for complex vision, or fit you for contact lenses. If you have a single vision prescription, stare at the red balloon, but there's a whole host of reasons to go to an actual eye doctor.
Sounds like I just need you to check out my eyes

Why do you have a random "no" in your title? It reads fine without it.
he is asking if they don't sell them. Yes, they don't sell them.

Oh, no, buddy. You don't get to just have it every way you want. You can either see near or far, but you don't get to see both. Choose.

I’m not positive but given your age, having night vision trouble, needing distance help, and distortion in your VA lenses sounds like possibly cataracts.
Go see Blake Williamson and get them checked out and fixed.
If nothing else you’ll enjoy the soundtrack playing in the background when you have your laser surgery. I remember at least Marshall Tucker’s Can’t You See. Plus something else-maybe Pure Prairie League.
Probably will only need readers afterwards. Get checked out.
