If by "these parts", you mean an anonymous and relatively obscure internet discussion board, then you're probably right. In all other settings, including most mainstream media and social media settings, much less in person in social settings, then you'd have to be blind and obtuse to not feel the peer pressure towards "progressivism".

At school, at church, in the work place, at meetings, at conferences, at concerts, over and over, progressives feel free to spout there opinions as fact. To even mildly disagree with someone who does so will bring instant ridicule.
