Must not be a dermatologist if she is performing surgery.
Here website said she is board certified in Derm and skin surgery. Some dermatologist do some fairly big resections of lesions with the patient's awake. I am not aware of dermatologist doing surgery that requires anesthesia, thought that appears to be the case in this instance.

She's no Dr. Pimple Popper.

Terrible. And in addition to the nonsense in the OR...she appears to be practicing well outside her training.
When choosing a surgeon...ask questions and do your homework! First question..are you actually a surgeon?

So is this person a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon?
At one point they say dermatologist then say she is doing liposuction?
I would think that would be the realm of the plastic surgeon not a dermatologist.

What’s crazy is that if she got a derm residency then she had the scores to get a gen surgery and subsequent plastics fellowship.

Many dermatologists are MOHS trained and do skin cancer excisions and some local tissue work for closure. Some will get a plastics or ENT facial plastics guy to close their wounds. Some certainly do more cosmetic work on the side as well.
Truth is, when you have your own office and the ability to do anesthesia within that office (sedation etc.), There's no one thats regulating the extent of what you can do in the office. So many offices add varying degrees of cosmetic services to their business(cash only, relatively easy is some cases). So if a family med guy feels comfortable doing facial peels, dermabrasion no one's stopping him. Same thing for dermatologists doing liposuction etc. In office.
Obvi you are susceptible to malpractice and if your having a high complication rate you're gonna lose your license or having action taken against you.
