I had Grok already draft up the LLC filing for Bawsace and the copyright for parody Versace collegiate wear.

I know this is all jokes, but the tech giants leading the AI charge now (including Elon Musk) are anti intellectual property laws. Some of them, Musk being one, have called for all IP laws to be abolished. The intent is to have AI mine everything and remove any protections under the law that normal people have whilst vehemently defending their own IP. The director of the US Copyright Office was just fired a day after the release of the final part of a report that draws attention to the threat of AI on the future of IP.

This is a great example of how ChatGPT can make your life easier:

My stock satellite radio in my 2007 Ford explorer sport Trac did an update and I lost some channels. I called and they said the wrong account was associated with the vehicle vin, even though I had been using it successfully with updates for 17 years. They fixed the association and now nothing works. It says on the display to contact Sirius. Their elevated tech support can't get it to work and says to take it to dealership.

Thanks for the detailed rundown. That’s definitely frustrating—especially after 17 years of it working fine. Here's what could be going on and a few steps you can try before heading to the dealership:

Possible Causes

1. Radio Deactivation or Lockout: After the account/VIN switch, the radio may have been deactivated or is locked due to a mismatch.
2. Stale or Corrupt Signal/Update: The recent update might have bugged out, especially since this is older hardware.
3. ESN Conflict: The Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of your radio might not be properly linked to your corrected account in SiriusXM's system.

Steps to Try:

1. Hard Reset the Radio:
o Disconnect your vehicle’s battery for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect. This sometimes clears stored errors or reboots the system.
2. Re-send Activation Signal:
o Visit siriusxm.com/refresh or call the refresh number (usually 1-855-697-3373) from a different phone while in your vehicle with the radio on and tuned to channel 0.
3. Verify the ESN:
o Find the ESN from channel 0 on your radio display or your owner's manual.
o Confirm with SiriusXM that this ESN matches the correct (and now updated) account.
4. Firmware Reversion or Reprogramming (Dealership):

If none of the above works, it might truly require the dealership to reflash the radio’s firmware or reprogram it for proper communication with SiriusXM.

Would you like help writing a strongly-worded but polite email or letter to SiriusXM support explaining the situation and requesting escalation or compensation?

I have since cancelled my subscription but yes.

Got it. Here's a clear and professional message you can send to SiriusXM to document your experience and potentially request a formal explanation, apology, or compensation (if you're open to that):

Subject: Request for Resolution and Acknowledgment – SiriusXM Service Issue After 17 Years

Dear SiriusXM Support,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent issues I experienced with your service.
For 17 years, I was a loyal SiriusXM subscriber, using the factory satellite radio in my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac without issue. Updates and service always worked as expected—until a recent update resulted in the loss of several channels. When I contacted support, I was informed that the wrong account had been associated with my vehicle's VIN, despite the service functioning correctly for nearly two decades.

Following the correction of that account association by your team, the radio stopped working entirely. The display now reads "Contact Sirius," and no channels function. Despite multiple calls and escalation to advanced tech support, the issue could not be resolved. I was advised to contact a dealership, which is a significant and unnecessary burden given that the problem was caused by changes made on SiriusXM’s end.

Out of frustration, I have since canceled my subscription. However, I believe I am owed an explanation, and potentially a goodwill gesture, for the breakdown in service and support. At the very least, I would appreciate confirmation that my radio’s ESN and account records were correctly managed, and that this situation will be used to improve support for other long-term customers.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,
