KNOW where the old cemeteries are.. DON'T ride there..
I know exactly where they are. We marked them on my GPS. Old slave cemeteries. The one toward the middle had head stones showing but could be covered with sand now. They marked the other one with a small tree planted on the 4 corners. I'm sure those things were gone at the first opening of the gates.

Any other "family friendly" trails in our fine state for rookie dirt bike riders?
Sicily Island. Not free though.

If the asswipes with the lift kits and snorkels on their atv's go there, it is pointless to go on a dirt bike.

Agreed. Those assholes ruin it for everyone.

OP needs to find an actual track to ride. They have play days.

Disagree.

They go in places that no one else would be going if they hadn't.

No, I don't have one. I have different tires but they are overkill for me. I don't want to get stuck. Too dam old for all that.

When I was a younger I would go there with my 4-wheeler and ride.

The Yamaha team riders would go and practice and jump the levee.

A guy I grew up with would ride and jump higher and farther than anyone on that team in street clothes like it was nothing. He would make the whole crew look like children out there.

Its hard to find riding spots for mountain bikes and even dirt bikes these days because the families with big arse 4 wheelers are going to tear it up all to shite.

For 30 years the trails behind my neighborhood were great for mountain bikes and motorcycles but over the past 8 years or so its become deep mud pits where 4-wheelers and monster truck golf carts get stuck and fight their way out. You create a new path around it and then that one also becomes a big mud pit.

As of now, I am not interested in small tracks. I prefer exploring trails.
